Originally a native of New England, born and raised in Massachusetts, I found myself transported to the Midwest in 1991.

Life in St. Louis is far different than living near the openness of a vast ocean, but it offers so many other rewards.  The warmth and friendliness of folks in the Midwest are genuine traits that make this such a special place.  If only we could package and distribute this "down home niceness."

This has inspired me to direct my efforts toward helping us create greater harmony in our lives and in our communities.  Consequently, my mission to enhance civility among people has become the driving force of my jewelry and my training programs.

My jewelry helps spread the message with each piece that carries the signature charm of the Wise Monkeys who remind us to See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil.  That leaves us with the decision to Just Do What's Right.  And that can only help us spread more civility, one person's actions at a time.  Distinctive Designs that Make a Statement is truly meaningful with Shayna's designs.

I am grateful to the many accomplished designers who have helped me learn the art and techniques of jewelry design and encouraged me to create my own style.  Initially the designs in my collections all incorporated a stone or bead with the message "Just Do What's Right".  While this remains the motto of Wise Monkeys Business, I am hopeful the image of the wise monkeys on each signature charm will remind us of the message.  Any jewelry design may be personally ordered to include this message on a stone or bead.

My jewelry designs incorporate semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, Swarovski crystals and 14kt gold filled pieces.  Each design is artfully unique, fashionable and crafted with great attention to detail and quality.  I seek to keep the pieces affordable so many can enjoy.  We believe all women should be able to indulge without guilt and every man should have the opportunities to indulge his special lady.
